Create a New Update

Designed for bulk updates of contracts that meet the specified criteria

Step 1: General configuration

Name the title which will be shown in the bulk update list and should contain meaningful information to identify it afterwards. Choose the update type to define what kind of changes will be applied. Provide a customer notification message which will be shown to customers in MyAccount.

Update type
  • Update or remove a specific product variant in affected contracts, optionally with price/discount adjustments.
  • Update contract-wide settings (discount, subscription interval/next date, status). No product replacement/removal.
  • Redistribute subscriptions into a target billing/delivery date range using a smoothing algorithm.

Step 2: Affected contracts

Define the list of contracts which will be updated. Pick a Variant ID in order to filter for subscription contracts related to a specific variant. Use the other criteria's to narrow down the results to your needs.

    Step 3: Contract updates

    Configure your bulk update details. Products can either be updated or removed. If updated, multiple adjustments can be made at the same time.

      Step 4: Run the update

      • Pick a test contract ID (you can use the more button in your list above).
      • Start dry run to ensure your configuration is correct.
      • Start test run to ensure that your outcome is as expected.
      • Double check your test results and the log of the affected contract.
      • Start bulk update only if the test run outcome is as expected.

      Confirms the update configuration will work. Does not change any contracts.

      Process the update on the test contract and doublecheck your results.
